Armenian Ivan finally found a football club and went to the Aland Islands

YEREVAN, 12 Feb — Sputnik. Player Ivan Yagan last week, remaining without a team, signed a contract with the Finnish club “Marian”. Now Yagan will play in the highest League of the championship of Finland. It is reported by Belgian publication Walfoot.

We will note, Ivan Yagan was a cousin of AGANA rook, who now plays for Swiss club Servette. Both brothers were born in Belgium, they have Armenian roots. Both played a few games for the national team of ArmeniaHrach – two, and John three, scoring one goal.

Ivan Yagan has played in several Belgian clubs. The best results he achieved in the first League of the championship of Belgium — with the command “Cercle-Brugge” and “LIRs”. After that he moved to the Premier League team “KAS Eupen”, but for the 2018-19 season, played just seven games in which he scored one goal. In the 2019-20 season, was left without a team. Abraham khashmanyan resigned from the post of head coach of Armenian football

YEREVAN, 12 Feb — Sputnik. Abraham khashmanyan, left the post of coach of the national team of Armenia on football. It is reported by the football Federation of Armenia.

It is noted that the contract was terminated by mutual consent, however, the causes of divorce were not disclosed.

Khashmanyan has led the team in early November, replacing the post Armen Gyulbudaghyants, who was at the helm of the national team in the period of qualifying for Euro 2020, but prematurely left the team, after a draw in the match against Liechtenstein and defeat in the final match from Finland with the score 3:0.

Especially annoying for fans was a draw with the national team of Liechtenstein, which is in the FIFA ranking 180 th place (now Armenia is on the 102nd). Earlier, after victories over Greece and Bosnia, Armenia has got a chance of second place in the group, but then lost them.

Under rukovodstvuetsya, Armenia has spent the last two games in the group – the Greeks lost 0:1, and then the Italians. Fans are particularly distressed it is not the outcome of the game (to play against Italy is not shameful), and the score – 1:9. after that, the national team of Armenia has not conducted matches, even friendlies.

Khashmanyan in the Soviet years played for Yerevan “Ararat”, who played in the highest League of the USSR championship. A productive meeting w/ #President of #Armenia, H.E. Armen Sarkissian today. We discussed our mutual cooperation as #constitutional institutions; projects of the Human Rights Defender (@OmbudsArmenia ); #humanrights issues; #reforms of the #Constitution & #judicial-#legal system.

I looked at composition of Nagorno Karabakh Republic’s first elected parliament (1991-95). Some things stood out: of 81 seats, 6 were set aside for NKR’s Azerbaijani minority (3 in Shushi, 1 in Khojali, 1 in Karadagli & 1 in Umudlu); they remained vacant. https://twitter.com/ArmenianStudies/status/1227282593516621824
